Where we came from

My Hotel career started in Northern California in 2005 at Wyndham hotels. I have spent 19 years across all aspects of the hotel industry from opening new hotels, overseeing regional portfolios to consulting with distressed properties and helping owners turn their properties around.

From 2011-2015 I oversaw the West Coast region for a startup hotel brand (later sold to Red Lion Hotel Group). Along with developing their rewards program I participated extensively with the Korean American Hotel Association and the Washington Hotel Association.

How we got here:

In 2014 my wife and I stumbled into Airbnb. With the news of a baby on the way, we wanted to move out of downtown into a bigger place but had just signed a lease. We decided to give Airbnb a shot. Quickly we were successful and we jumped in headfirst pursuing a new trend - short-term rentals. We chose “arbitrage” as our entry point into the industry (renting apartments to list on Airbnb and scaled to over 150 apartments.

Where we are now:

After regulations hit Seattle, we made a pivot to managing short-term and mid-term rentals for property owners & investors. We grew to over 600 doors in one year!

We then turned our focus to streamlining our operation by hiring the best team we could find in-house! We’ve built our own STR tech, made several strategic partnerships, and proudly hold the title of the longest-operating short-term rental management company in WA State with 9,200+ 5-star reviews.

We are also members of the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA).
