Where we came from

My Hotel career started in Northern California in 2005 at a Wyndham hotel. I’ve spent 9 nears across all aspects of the hotel industry from opening new hotels, overseeing the entire West Coast for a startup hotel brand, to consulting with distressed properties, helping owners turn their properties around.

How we got here:

In 2014 my wife and I stumbled into Airbnb. With the news of a kid on the way, we wanted to move out of downtown into a bigger place but had just signed a lease. We decided to give Airbnb a shot. Quickly we were successful and I was able to shift from the hotel industry, pursuing a new trend - short-term rentals.

Where we are now:

We chose “arbitrage” (renting apartments to list on Airbnb and scaled to over 150 apartments. After regulations hit Seattle, we made a pivot to managing short-term and mid-term rentals. We grew to over 600 doors in one year!

We then turned our focus to streamlining our operation by hiring the best team we could find in-house! We’ve built our own STR tech and made several strategic partnerships, making us the longest-operating short-term rental management company in WA State.
